Volunteer with Life Haven

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@LifeHavenWA.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Life Haven is a registered Christian non-profit organization that works to provide housing for pregnant mothers in crisis. The organization works to provide stability and resources to help new mothers prepare for life with their baby.

The Everett Christian Reformed Church has graciously agreed to host a fundraising event for Life Haven on May 30th, 2025. The event will include dinner, speakers, and an informational program.

Teen volunteers will help set up and serve the plated dinner, clear plates, offer refills of beverages, and clear and wash plates afterward.

No experience is necessary to volunteer. This is a great opportunity because all volunteers will receive training in food service etiquette and methods and be able to take these skills into future employment opportunities.

We ask that all volunteers be 12 years of age or older.

We ask that volunteers arrive at 4:30pm to help set up the tables and receive training for the event. The event runs from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, and all volunteer activities should be able to be completed in that time frame, so teens can expect leave by 8:30pm. Since times are approximate, Life Haven will mark at least 4 hours of volunteer time for each teen who participates.

All volunteers will receive dinner, practical serving experience, a personalized letter of recommendation, and the knowledge that they are helping to support pro-life ministries in their own community. Online school volunteer forms can be completed as well.

Of course! As a pro-life organization we value families and the right of all parents to keep their children safe. Parents are welcome to volunteer as well, or attend as a ticketed guest! See more information about event tickets here.
